Well,everything from the 7200 case went into the 8500 case. The only item that was the same was the Floppy Drive, the CD ROM (Which are identical to the ones in the 8500 Rev. a, both being 1st generation PCI powermacs with 7.5.2)and the power supply. The 112M of RAM went with the motherboard. The 8500 DID have a XLR8 200 Mhz 604e clocked up to 220Mhz. (well 219.4, but....) The power supply could be the source, being that it does put out less power that the one in the 8500 case. The Video connector did make the move with it to the 7200 case, the punchouts were allready there. I am a little ticked, however, that I do not have those same input ports on the 9600, but I will address that in another post...
