so for some reason, the hard drive in my PM 8500 seems to want to spin down whenever it pleases causing me to lose data and swear profusely. There doesn't seem to be any one thing causing it, it happnes at seemingly random intervals. So does this mean that the hard drive has gone bad? Or maybe the powersupply on the computer itself? Or something else is screwy? It's a seagate barracuda 4 gig 7200 rpm drive, aren't these drives relatively reliable? Any help would be great.
