Does this machine do video spanning? I just tried it and doesnt seem to work. what kinda video card is it in there that doesnt do this? seems pretty dumb to have a second video card that doesnt do video spanning, would love to increase realestate in this machine, the main screen does a 832x624 at 75 hz, any higher the flicker is noticable. thanks a million for any input, just installed 0s 9.1 in this.

I doubt it...

I don't remember exactly what kind of video card it has, but the 5500/250 has a Rage II (2 meg), and the 5500/225 has a Rage II DVD (2 meg)...

So it'd be something like that.

I doubt its capable of driving two monitors; are you talking about having a second PCI video card? In that case... well... I'm not sure.

Or do you mean the additional output ports on the machine like RCA and S-Video?
