...I've put my G4 733, 512 ram back onto dfold but it seems to be slow even with nothing else running - it is producing about 40,000 units/day compared to my xp1600 with 256 ram heading for 120,000/day.

I've downloaded the latest client and the -rt is on.

Is 40,000 about right or do I need to be looking for other memory hogs or applying other dfold tweaks.

Any suggestions?

Those numbers sound correct. Nothing you can do to help them out.
Macs really suck for DC projects. I'm getting 48,000 X 2 a day from my G4 800 DP machine.

Welcome back.
Tag ur it.

Welcome back.
OK, cheers for letting me know, I was a bit shocked at the numbers but if that is normal so be it.

Thanks
