I'm running SETI on >console from login and it won't wake up after it goes to sleep. I comeback after a few hours and nothing shows up on the screen, even after killing the process (control C) and typing logout. Any ideas?
It is processing though.

don't let it go to sleep.
I've seen that problem before, never been able to figure out why, but not sleeping fixes it

I'm going to do some experimenting with this. I seem to remember that the display lights up if not too much time has passed but not after a few hours. Perhaps it is the hard disk that can't wake up?
