The D2OL team just passed Free DC to move into the #13 overall spot. Progress up the ranks continues. Daily production continues to rank well into the top 10.

If I have time for setup, daily production will jump into the top 5.
I might have to get bored with dfold first too.

Well it looks like we made the top 5 in daily production for last week already, and holding #5 or #6 on a steady basis, and not too far behind #3 & #4. It shouldn't take many more days before we pass the #12 & #11 teams overall either, then a couple of weeks to hit the top 10 I think. Doing pretty good for the small handful of crunchers we got.

Who else besides mikkyo and myself (AKA Eaglechild) is crunching D2OL on a regular basis? jbcool seems to have been busy elsewhere.

Yay!
We have 12 members runnign D2OL now and 31 nodes (though some are inactive I imagine - 2 of mine are).
We are going to be doing very well as team now.

We should move from #13 to #11 overall within the next 2 days. We are averaging #5 in weekly production, and #4 for today. And that is with two of my nodes temporarily off the project (losing about 70-80 units per day)

Now if they would just come up with a fix for the Jaguar Dock issue, things would be real nice for the Macs.

Okay, we are now in the #12 spot overall, and are averaging #4 in daily production. We should take #11 overall by the end of the day tomorrow, and then break into the top 10 within 3 weeks or less From then on, overall progress will be slower, but we should continue to gain, though gradually. Competition gets tougher in the top 10. While we are out producing all but three teams, all of the teams in the top 10 have a several month head start on us. A push for #1 isn't yet practical, because it would take too much power from other projects. Our best bet for growth is to entice new membership through the D2OL project itself. We currently show 12 members, but I don't think more then 4 or 5 are actually active, with myself (Eaglechild) and Mikkyo, carrying most of the load right now.

The Dutch Power Cows are pretty much dominating D2OL at this point and will shortly take over the #1 spot from the Italy based "BioHazard research group. Their average daily production is almost 4.7 times ours. The Number 2 daily team, Team USA, is only 1.6 times our production and the #3 in daily average production, BioHazard Research Group, is only 1.16 times our daily production. Everyone else including Ars Technica Team Frozen Yogurt is behind us in daily production. However it will take us many months at current production rates to pass Ars Tech in the overall standings. They have a very large headstart and lead.

Thanks to all the new folks that have helped out. Every little bit helps, and this is a project that could have far reaching benefit.
