In the next three weeks we are going to drop 5 places in Folding@home. Anyone interested (especially Reader and Scott, since you are the ones who would be doing all the work that you do) in having a race to boost our output and draw some interest?

If you are willing to wait until october for the race, I'm in.
I'm working on getting to 10K SETI WU now, I should be done by Oct 1st (well, that's my goal).

Well I have one box that just doesn't want to play nice at D2OL (it just quits 1 or twice a day) so I am moving it over to Folding@home. While not the fastes of my boxes, it should help a little. I know that it will run steadily there. (barring power outages like I just had.)

For now, I moved the team's setiQ from DF to f@h.
I'll see about moving my G3 over.
I'd move the imac, but it sleeps a lot, and I can't be sure that it will meet the time limits.
All the fast machines are on seti, since I want to drop my average time.

If there are at least 4 or 5 people interested, then I would be game for a week long race. I don't want to pull all my power off of D2OL for an extended period, but a week would be okay.

In the interim I have put my Power Mac 800 and my Celeron 1.3 ghz on Folding@home to help keep the dogs at bay, at least until they fix the Jaguar bug for D2OL. That should be good for about 7 units a day.

Darn Scott. It looks like you are already in race mode. That's a big one day jump.
