I've been awaiting an RMA'd xp chip for one of my crunchers and had been loaned a duron but the loaner has had to go back, so lost a hard working machine. Still my new chip should be here soon.....one of those lovely clockable xp1700, so should be good for around 1900mhz - should be a nice boost over a 900mhz duron.

Still prefer my mac crunchers tho', they just seem to play more nicely when I want to do anything else with them

Bummer!!! I know the feeling.

However, thanks to Scott's and other folks help, I finally got my other 1900 box back up. Even better yet, in the process, I found a jumper switch that was set incorrectly (the source of all my woes) and have finally successfully installed Windows, something that I couldn't do before. No more attempts at overclocking though until I can get a better chip.
