It's going to be a few weeks before it's ready to go. I have an older Soyo DDR motherboard with an Athlon 900 on it, a Radeon DDR 32 (a no-fan version!), and a sound blaster compatible s/c all wasting away and collecting dust.
I read a cool article that suggested this easy-to-install version of Linux that even I could install. It comes with some decent software, too.
Anyways, since this will be a third 'puter, it'll be free to crunch and munch all day and night. I might need a little help getting the program up and running. Any suggestions as to which @home I should dedicate this thing to?
BTW, here's the OS I ordered. It'll be available/delivered in a coupla weeks:
SuSE Linux 8.2
