So I have F@H running on my Linux machine, and lately it has been doing this:

[14:52:18] Finished a frame (150)
[15:25:12] Finished a frame (151)
[15:50:15] Finished a frame (152)

and so on. It also does this on my Mac when I run it there. It is up to frame 250 now. Is this normal?

Yes, Tinker work units, since version 3.25, will show the current frame up until the work unit finishes.

You can find the total number of frames from the line which looks like the bolded line in the following example:

Protein: p676_TZ2_EXT_319K
[14:22:53] - Run: 268435456 (Clone 1023410176, Gen 100663296)
[14:22:53] - Frames Completed: 0, Remaining: 400
[14:22:53] - Dynamic steps required: 5000000
folding@home is good for you.
