Since last night. I start wondering if it is not better not using the proxy, SETI haven't had outages in a long time.

Feel free to stop using it. It isn't as helpful now that seti is reliable.
BTW, I'm not running it anymore. Someone in Texas is now. The box that used to be the setiQ is now a test server for me

Did I understand right? The proxy is off?
Hm, would have been nice if it'd been announced before going off-line.

Anyway, if there's a new link, what is it?
Seti has not been very reliable within the last weeks for me, so a reliable proxy would be handy then.

It's still running, I just had the DNS pointed at a different machine. I no longer run it.
The address is the same, but the machine it hits is different.
I did post a notice when it was being moved.

Oh, so I must have had the outage due to the DNS not yet updated. I must have missed your notice, but on the Seti-MacNN main page the news are news from weeks ago, I simply assumed anything worthwhile mentioning would have been posted there....anyway, it's ok now.

Sorry about that.
News should start being posted regularly once we get the new site up. Right now reader50 has to make all news postings, and it's not a fun process.
