Hi,

I upgraded my B&W 450 to 800Mhz last week, and installed OS X in order to run DF. I started the client last Thursday PM and it's been running steadlily since.

It is only on Gen 151 as of Tuesday morning Can anyone verify if this sounds right or maybe I have an L2 cache boggle somewhere? I don't play music, run PS or other cpu sucking activities on this box..just email, surfing, IRC.

System-512RAM, 50GB HD, Powerlogix G3 Zif 800Mhz upgrade, Speculative cache access on.

Thanks in advance or any help/suggestions.

Sounds about right, my iMac 800 has been running a bit less than that, has been used a bit but it is only up to 104.

Every point counts tho', plus I find my iMac is still happy to do other stuff whilst it crunches whereas my PCs do slow a bit in Windows.

YMMV

Wow..thanks for speedy response DAlex

Was kind of hoping I had a problem And yes, I find the system more useable running DF than a WinX box. And OS X is the icing on the cake...was prepared to hate it..now I love it so it's all good

Thanks again
