Just a note that I'll be on vacation from Aug 14th until Aug 24th.
During that time I won't be monitoring the stats servers, nor will I be able to do much if something goes wrong.
reader50 is the person to contact during that time. He can try and fix whatever is wrong, and he knows how to contact me if needed.

It's easy. I get paid hourly, so I just tell my boss I want to go on vacation. I'm not returning to work after I get back, either.
You do not want my job. It's about half a step above slave labor.

I finished getting the farm ready tonight. I couldn't figure out what kept tripping the breaker. Turns out it was the laser printer warming up. Moved the 2000, 2100, and 2200 to a different circuit, everything is happy. Can't have the breaker tripping while I'm gone.

Shaktai, I'm bringing the coolpix 3100, just got 8 2000mA batteries for it (rechargeable) and a 256MB CF card. I can now do 240 pics at max resolution, and I'm dumping to my laptop each night. I should have a very large photo gallery when I get home.

Well you'll have to setup a gallery and show some off when you get back. I'd like to see what that little camera can do. I really like my 5700, but would like to get a decent compact that I can easily carry around with me as well. Have a good trip and rest assured that the rest of us will keep the world safe for distributed computing.

reader50, you'll find your keycard has been upgraded for the duration of my trip. You are in charge of the servers (now that's a scary thought)

Hmm, flight leaves in less then 3 hours. Maybe I should finish packing...

By all!

and
b) I want to get back on a plane and come home

Hehe, that was just me being really pissed.
The power went out at around 4PM, my flight landed at 5PM. We just got power around two hours ago, and water started working an hour ago.
Turns out, last night my house had a power outage, also. It was long enough that the battery backups didn't last. Also took out a large chunk of my home farm. Oh well.
My flight for my final destination leaves in 12.5 hours

Hope you get to enjoy the rest of your vacation without any more hassles. But at least now you can say you were there when you could see the stars at night in New York.
