You mean a 603e. You won't sell any computer with a 603, and they didn't make any faster than (I think) 140 MHz anyway. The c500 is a halfway decent computer, though. I have one taking up space on my dresser right now, as a matter of fact.

Actually, out of curiousity, I looked it up:

http://everymac.com/systems/umax/index.html

Various models of the C500 did go all the way up to 240 Mhz with a 603e. It did have the CPU on a card, so any model would probably have run any of the other processors, including G3 and G4 processors....

One strong point that this system has is the ability to use an IDE hard drive. EveryMac.com lists the street price to between $50 and $80.

yup. a 240Mhz 603e. fastest 603e ever shipped i do believe?

and yes. a 4GB IDE hard drive. just something that i dropped in that used to be in an old iMac.

Also, like to note. It has two PCI slots. One is filled with a ethernet card...the other is open...

I think the fastest 603e was either 250 or 275 MHz. When I said 140, I meant the original 603, not the e.

Apple actually shipped the PowerMac 6500 with a 300 Mhz 603e in it. That is the fastest one that I can find any info on.
