If you restart the CLI client with the switch "-config", it will allow you to enter your User ID and, billybob128 and team number, 16. This will give all future credit to you and not user "anonymous."

The following link is really good for getting max performance from your pc:

Don't worry. It looks as though you are crunching under the correct username for the correct team. You should appear under the stats site after you have completed your first work unit.

Happy crunching!

Billybob128 how long it takes to finsh a unit depends on the speed of the machine that you are running. You might state what machine you are running and there may be someone that can give you and idea of how long (ball park) it will take your machine.
Tag ur it.

It would also help to give the protein number associated with your work unit.

Well that is a big one, with a 16 day time limit. On your 800mhz machines it will take about half that time to complete. It is worth 53 points though, so that is pretty good when it is done.

To see what each protein is work, and how much time they allow for it to be completed, go to http://folding.stanford.edu/psummary.html

That will show the proteins, how long you have to complete them and how much they are worth. Generally, the bigger ones take longer but are worth more when they are done.

Maybe you can convince your brother to let the iMac monitor sleep but not the CPU. That way it will work faster.
