Hi,

Since my Al12" gets a bit too hot, I've set up my old iBook 466 to crunch FAH. However, I have no idea how to work the console version, so I am using the GUI app at the moment. I'm sure that I could get more throughput with the console, and maybe stop the HD spinning up as often.

Any tips/ideas? Just knowing the command to stop crunching would be a help.

To stop crunching, simply hit CTRL-C. As far as tips, setting it up is fairly straight-forward, as you are prompted to enter all of the settings when you first run the program. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions, though.
