Technology preview available here. Could you ostensibly be able to run this in say a lab at a university with one SETI client and have this Xgrid thingy auto-discover all the idle machines, and spread the work around?

I was very excited about this particular app, moreso than just about anything else introduced today.

Too bad it's fairly involved to set-up and at this point in time only for computer savvy folks to set-up.

So far, it's really aimed at programmers who will be coding applications for it and some demos.

In time, it could be very, very exciting.

If you had a 1000 G5 network you could create
