I'm just getting started with FAH, I've got this error two times in a row so far:
[22:43:07] - Checksums don't match (work/wudata_02.xtc)
[22:43:07] Checksum not what expected.
[22:43:07]
[22:43:07] Folding@home Core Shutdown: FILE_IO_ERROR
[22:43:07] CoreStatus = 75 (117)
[22:43:07] Error opening or reading from a file.
[22:43:07] Deleting current work unit & continuing...
I assume this is not normal. Anyone know how to fix this?

BTW, I am running two instances of FAH. I followed instructions in another thread to get it working.

Do the two instances have different client IDs?

Yes, I ran the -config parm for both instances and made sure they are using different machine ids.

Maybe it is working now... it appears to have gotten past the point where it failed last time. It might have been because I initially screwed up and ran the two instances with the same machine id. I just didn't expect it to fail twice in a row. Time will tell...

grrr. It failed again. I think I'm missing a step somewhere because it appears that the 2nd instance is working on the same data as the first instance. In other words, no work unit data was downloaded when I fired up the 2nd instance.

I realize now that there is a folding@home directory in ~/Library where the config files and work unit data are stored. Shouldn't I have two separate folders each with their own config files and work units? I had created two seperate folders for the executables but it doesn't store the config data there.
