Used to crunch a bit on dfold and RC5 a while back, but got sidetracked by stuff and had to give up. (All under my old nick of Marc2211).
However I've just decided that I don't want to waste my spare CPU cycles, so have just set up my new Athlon XP2800+ box to fold for folding@home.
Only a basic screen saver client, so nothing too dramatic, but it may contribute a few units from time to time.
Peace,
Marc

Which group did you join for the race? Are you over 30? If so.....

Hey now! If you had read my signup thread, you'd see that the only ones with stuffed shirts are those who relent to calling themselves old and signing up for the 30+ group!
We in Corporate America are of a different class.
We're warriors.
Heros.
A different breed of man.
But heck, why not join our ranks and see for yourself?

Somehow, I have a hard time picturing any of those guys holding down a corporate job. For starters, the job application. "What country are you a citizen of? If you were born outside the US, do you have a green card?"
Come to think of it, they look like exceptions to the rules to me ...

Wait a second there, reader. I've heard rumors that, your group (The Misfits, right?) is home to munchkins like the following:
Apparently, they believe they represent the lollypop guild, whatever that is.
That being said, those of you respectable folders out there should consider joining my team, instead.

OH PLEASE. A new visitor this neck of the forums who used to crunch "a while back, but got sidetracked by stuff" sounds much more like a Team Lurker member than anything else.

Hey all, I didn't realise there was a race going on, but my choice seems to speak for itself...
Well, I'm not over 30... just.
I'm not American, and although I used to be a lawyer, I was a member of the rebelious miltant workforce, working under sufference, so I don't think I'd fit in...
College Kids? Hmmm, been there done that, don't want to go back! (Although I'm doing a Masters degree at the moment)...
2200 posts, been here 2+ years, addicted? I think I'm hardly a lurker...
Seems like I'm a 100% Exception so far, so have gone with that...
Peace
