Another DF update, another series of problems.

Check your clients to see if they are doing anything. You might find something like what I found, with up to 4K generations sitting there buffered.
Try and upload.
If your error log has 910 or 908 errors from the last few days, you might want to uninstall the client and start over.
Not one of my clients uploaded recently, they were all stuck and buffering. Make sure yours aren't doing the same.

And how. Bah! (I've always wanted to use 'bah!' in a legitimate context )

Apparently it's supposed to be buffering a lot, using this new ticketing system. I don't really follow the df forums all that closely but it's been suggested that if your earliest generation gets corrupted in some way, the client will never move beyond that and just keep buffering… forever…

Well anyway, a lot of my machines seemed to be having problems. Some on the df boards suggested running the previous client with the current buffered load and filelist, and this would successfully upload the old work from the previous protein. I got this to work on a couple of machines (which accounts for my stats spike yesterday) but I don't think it's working anymore.

Annoyingly I also found one of my machines had apparently not uploaded anything for about two weeks or more - which might have meant that instead of being 80 million ahead of me, Scott would only be… about 70 million ahead of me

This is exactly why I quit df the first time! Their software is crap!! My Dual G5 had over 6K buffered between both processors and I cannot get them to upload. I quit, again!!!
