I'm curious as to whether people would be interested in @team.macnn.com email addresses. Along with that question, would people be willing to pay for email addies, either by donation (pay what you think it's worth), or a set cost per month / year.
This is just me musing at this point, because us folks over at The Depths Of Hell are currently in the process of revamping our mail system, and the new one will be a nice basic setup consisting of:
  • imap(s)
  • pop3(s)
  • webmail (https)
  • spam filtering, using bayesian (user customizable), as well as distributed filtering and blacklists
  • virus scanning
  • Server side filtering
  • Large quotas (25MB or more)
  • More features that have yet to be determined

I've heard from people that they would like to have use of a setup like the above, and I'm definitely going to need to test this setup, both users and load, so let me hear some opinions from you all on whether there would be interest. Funds earned would of course go to support server farm operations.
Now, there won't be anything soon, because there's a lot of custom programming left to be done, but we hope to have a very nice setup within the next two months, if not earlier.
This address could be used as a forward as well. It would be a useful address to use to register as a DC project address, and it'd make a nice filtering address too, since you can give it out while still having little to no spam (it's my personal and business setup, so it'll be setup to work well while not catching non spam as spam).

Let me know what you think.
