When I checked my logs this morning, I had this message from the team perproxy:
[Jun 10 15:25:12 UTC] The perproxy does not support OGR-P2.
Now I'm not crunching any OGR, and it's accepting my RC5 work, so it is not really an issue. But it did make me curious. I pulled up the proxy stats at http://teamstats.macnn.com/rc5stats/byemail.html and discovered that almost noone is using it anyway.
So I ended up with more questions:
1) Are we even tracking OGR?
2) Why aren't more people using the team proxy?
3) Which version of the proxy are we using? (http://teamstats.macnn.com/rc5stats/server.html says
Unable to read console log files
please correct the proxyper.ini
We do not track OGR stats. I've offered to several times, but only one person ever expressed interest - and that was during the time between RC5-64 and RC5-72 when there were no RC5 units to crunch.
Scott will have to answer questions about the proxy.
I updated it to the newest version. It'll accept OGR again now.
It'll get shut down when my servers do though. It lives on the same box as the stats server, so it'll go where that machine goes, if it goes somewhere.
