Can't seem to reach it, but I have no idea if I'm down.

Anyone?

Piece of crap. It picked a horrible time to die (as if any time is a good time). I'll kick it Tuesday night, and give it a swift format in the next few weeks.

Update. I've been in touch with Scott, and he has been on the phone to his ISP. The ISP went down in that area for some hours; when it came back up, Scott's modem required a reset. The ISP has tried to do it from their end, but no luck.

Since no one is home during the holiday weekend, the modem cannot be reset until Tuesday night when Scott gets home. Asking the neighborhood burglar to reset the modem while he's there won't work on account of the guard bear.

So it looks like the servers are both up and healthy, but disconnected from the internet. Good thing this happened on a holiday weekend when no one would be online checking stats, right? .... right?

Awesome. I don't need stats, I'll just look at my folding@home Stanford page. Oh wait, their page sucks.

Side note: Internet Explorer on Mac OS 9 sucks (I'm back at the parent's house for July 4th)

Heh. I was in Del Mar an hour ago. I could go home now, and wouldn't mind going now, I just couldn't get a flight until Tuesday night.

Bleh, there was a power outage. Not related to the server outage (*kisses battery backups*), but annoying, because I haven't bothered setting up the crunch boxes to start crunching @ boot. Modem is now happily reset, and the farm is back crunching, too.
