...Hello everyone, I've been away from crunching for a while (real life, in the 3yr old child form, caught up with me  ) but am looking to lend some new power to the team again. So, where could some screaming athlons and an imac be best used?

Well I've plonked my iMac on to Predictor and will let it run for the next four days whilst I'm away. When I get back I'll have a look at it again and see whether to put the Athlons across - unless someone can suggest another needy cause

DAlex, Welcome back you were missed. I agree with mikkyo, go for predictor. For your iMac check out mikkyo's optimized BOINC core clients. The project is officially rated public alpha, but overall it is running pretty well.
