I didn't see anyone mention this, nor did I see a log of what's new, but the Mac OS X versions of the folding@home client are now in sync with the Windows and Linux clients. The download page has the links to the new version (as well as the old 4.0):

I've updated a few of my machines and haven't noticed any bugs yet. Anyone know any more?

I tested a beta version of it a few weeks ago with no problems. I was a little disappointed that they did not offer feature parity with the Windoze version in one area in particular. In the new Windoze version you can have the client start automatically with Windoze as a service. I had hoped that they would make an option to startup the Mac version via crontab, but no go. I had also hoped that they would make it a little more compatible with different firewalls so that I could run it at work, but still no go there. The only DC client that I ever got working through our work firewall was dfold and they are out of business.
