Yeah, that's about all I have to say. I'm not around much, sorry.
20 credits makes for a busy Scott.

Suggestions to spice the place up and bring in new blood are always welcome.

Guess you have pulled your nose away from the computer monitors this year and put it near the books? How has school been going this year?

With no more activity that I was seeing here I thought everyone was on an extended spring break or already started their summer activities.
Tag ur it.

We could start some more cross-forum fights with other teams...

And say what? We are less enthused about crunching WUs, now please stop reading the things we post at your forum and leave us be? It's been a long time since I've heard any interesting news about a DC project in the media. Seems like all the projects are at SETI's level--we're not sure if all this work will produce any results at are, but ho boy we sure are trying. I'll hit a million conformers in D2OL in a couple weeks and then, I dunno, take a nap.
Help find a cure for Malaria: crunch D2OL for Team Macnn.

Couple of ideas, maybe:

1. I could start up some friendly chatter in other teams' forums, but I dont see many prospects...

2. Have another team race, maybe the winner could receive something

3. Have a race with another team (LittleWhiteDogs always seemed to generate a lot of yapping)

4. Have a non-traditional "race." For instance set challenges for number of new computers drafted, or members recruited (we can ask new members to say who referred them),

5. We could set a goal of say number 5 in D20L (pulled that out of my ass so I dont know if thats possible or not) and set a lot (I know it wont be all) of our team resources blazing up the ranks in at least one project

6. Thinking blue sky here, we could register our team at one of the distributed human/charity projects and set a goal there like in #4 or against another team like in #3. For instance the Ecology Fund keeps track of teams, and groups like the Nights who Say Ni, SETI@Netherlands, and the Dutch Power Cows all have teams. (http://ecologyfund.com/ecology/groups_win_overall.html)

7. Ask other teams what they do for fun

I've run out of ideas, less seriously now:

8. Make our own news by inappropriately going to Apple stores (or any store, really) and putting their display computers to work for us

9. Forge an alliance with the Internet's most powerful force, porn

Even with permission, it may do nothing. Last I heard, the Apple Stores reimage the HDs every night. Helps give prospective customers the best experience with the floor machines, wipes away any strangeness people did the previous day.

I don't know if the store people are able to edit the master disk images. If they could, it still would leave no place for the client's data to survive the reimage each night.
