I finally got a suitably tricky parser built that will handle Predictor's latest 20-members-per-page configuration. It works on my local system, but I need a piece of info before putting it on teamstats.
Our member stats page on the project side gives our member total in the header (42 at this time), then lists "Active Members" - 38 at this time.
I need to know what an "Active Member" is. Is it someone who has returned a unit, or someone who has returned a unit lately? If it's someone who has returned a unit lately, then we can't pull data from that page because people with credit will not always be listed.
If an "Active Member" is anyone with a non-zero stats total, then the page can be used. New members just won't show until they return something.
Also, does anyone know if Predictor's display rules for "Active Members" apply to all boinc projects? The revised parser was modified in a general way, so as to make it compatible with other boinc variations. ie - if another boinc project hardcodes a display limit other than the default 20 members-per-page, the parser will still work. If all of them display members with above-zero totals, then we are a lot closer to stats for the other boincs.
ps - we cannot reasonably have fast stats for SETI because the boinc people hardcoded a range limit of ~1,000 member into the member display function. SETI is the only boinc in which we are above that limit. Until/unless they change that, the most we could do is to fudge something up that updates regularly only for the top 1,000 members of the team. Such a hack would be susceptible to assorted errors.
Until/unless the boinc people modify the hardcoded display limit, our only practical solution for SETI-boinc will be to use the XML stats data. Those files only update 1-2 times per day.

I think and Active Member is someone currently on the team.
The other team members (inactive) were on the team, but joined another team.
One could test that.
I believe the definition is the same for all boinc.

Finally got some time tonight. I went into the master list (as team founder) and what I see is that 4 people who joined the team but never returned any credit at all, are not listed on the active list. Everyone on the active list earned credit at some point. If those four individuals ever submit credit, then they will become active.
This same pattern holds true for Einstein and Climate Prediction as well. You are active, only after you have returned at least a measurable fraction of credit. If you join and never return work for credit then you are inactive. If an inactive member who never earned any credit moves to another team, then I think their name may be deleted from the master team list, but I am not sure. The project stats pages reflect only those people who have earned some credit, even if they move to another team later.
With BOINC, if you earn credit for a team, you remain on the list even if you go to another team, because your credit earned with a team will stay with the team. The new team will only get the credit you earn while with them.
Now to avoid confusion, the individual always keeps all of their personal credit earned with all teams, but the team only shows the benefit of credit earned while they are with the team.
Hope that makes sense.

The files have been updated on teamstats, Predictor stats should resume. Please report any glitches.
If the fixes take, it will be time to work on Climate.
