Boinc_4.44 clients are faster, optimized with gcc 4.0, run on 10.3.9 or 10.4 and support the new client/work management features (like crunching soon be due workunits before their deadline is reached).
You can run them in the GUI or CLUI, and if you have many machines, like you do, the pccALL version of the client is great since you only need one version of the client and it will run optimized code on G3/4/5.
Other than that, 4.44 is newer and better, and eventually, the projects will stop supporting boinc 4.19, or 4.27 and so you'll have to upgrade then anyway.
