Okay,

I've got too many boxes for my little home office, the electric and air conditioning bills are killing me. Even in the winter it is tough to keep things cool. I need to get rid of 2 or 3 PC's to bring my farm down to a manageable level. (Don't worry, I'll still have 4 high end PC's and 2 macs)

I am offering to Colorado crunchers and not shipping, because I want the buyer to see and test the boxes to their satisfaction. Once the deal is made, there are no refunds. It would make me happy if these good boxes could find a home with another MacNN cruncher.

Sony Viao Pentium4 3.0 ghz with HT. 512mb RAM, 1 mb L2 cache.
ATI Radeon 9200 video graphics - 8x AGP.
DVD read/write - CD read/write, floppy drive DVD Rom, USB and Firewire
160 gb HD (I think)
All original software that came with it, plus I have added a basic virus and spywarecatcher. (a necessity on PC's)
Windows XP with all the latest patches. RESTORE CD/DVD
Price: $375

Hewlett Packard AMD 64 3200+ Socket 754 upgradeable to 3700+
Nvidea 5200 FX Graphics card with 8x AGP graphics.
DVD read/write, CD read/write, USB and 8 in 1 flash card reader.
200 gb Hard drive, 512 mb RAM
Currently running Win XP 64 beta OS which expires in February. Has Restore DVD for the original Win XP 32 bit version with all of HP's junk software. Has Anti-virus.
Price $325

UPDATE. Changed my mind. The Athlon 2800 is not for sale. Recalculated the power costs and the savings would be neligible relative to the loss of production.

ALL HAVE: 10/100 ethernet. 56k modem, Original keyboard, mouse and speakers if you want them. All also have the latest updates, patches, etc, so you won't have to mess with that. Also, all have "Windows optimized" versions of BOINC so they are ready to attach and crunch.

I have latest version of Mandrak Linux on CD at no charge. And if I sell all three, there will also be a PC only 4 port KVM switch, cables and a 17 inch CRT monitor available very cheap.

Room to bargain if you're intersted in more then one item. Sorry no shipping. It's all pick and Carry. Cash or Money Order. No personal or business checks. You've got to be able to travel to the South East Denver area. Have a few other odds and ends I'll throw in for free if your interested, but no guarantees on them. (2 2port KVM's, 8 port ethernet hub,)

E-mail or private message me through the board, if you're interested or have questions.

Come on Shaktai, I'll probably take both for crunching if you will ship them them to Georgia. We can negotiate a fair shipping price I am sure.

Hmmm!

Well, drop me an e-mail at -- b r d a v i d at m a c dot c o m -- and we can discuss. In the meantime I'll look to see if I have any shipping boxes. You're a known quantity and gainfully employed last I knew, we can probably do business. Least I know they won't be abused except for some hard duty crunching or maybe even gaming.
