That's odd.

No way a Pentium D or an Athlon 64 X2 rig would beat a G5 Quad in SETI, let alone by that large of a margin. I was thinking that maybe they were MP systems. But then I remembered that neither the Pentium D nor the X2 support MP configurations.

Any idears?

sure, I guess a merging error.

as I and others mentioned on the Planet3dNow forum (they should know ), the first computer has no results to click on, was created today, but has 1,8 Million TC. and a Pentium 2,8 could never ever deliver such a RAC, not even if it's overclocked to 2x4,0 GHz.

I mean a 5000+ RAC for a Dual Dualcore Athlon board (don't want to know what those cost) is somewhat plausible, but not for the other computers.

Yeah, its a merge calculation error most likely. If the person drops out of the top position in 24-48 hours you can be certain of it.

Looks like a bug in the merge function:

It is a bogus, old trick to get leading position for a while. Merge bunch of coputers under one
