It is probably already obvious and everyone practises maximization here, but I want to make the observation anyway.

I have an Intel Duo Core iMac and am participating in Einstein and Seti @ home. From my short exposure to Macro Economics, I have been instructed that for the maximum output, production units should produce units where they are most efficient. I have observed that for my computer compared to PPC's, I am more efficient doing work units for Einstein@home then Seti@home. Therefore, I and others using Intel Core Duo Macs should have them doing only Einstein@home and workers with PPC's should have them doing only Seti@home. This should maximize total output for the same inputs.

Is this correct?

It is logical, save if the total number of each computers is unbalancing the result; the optimum would with an equal account of flops in each "farm".
