I really believe in the effort by the Climate folks, but there have been several fits and starts recently on the Beta. Yes, that is to be expected in a Beta (sort of, but more in an alpha), but my question is, I now have two Climate models running on my computer that have due dates of early 2008 and no expectation of them being completed by then.

Does this mean that the Climate folks have sent two WU's to be separately evaluated by my duo? Or is it a mistake? I hate to ruin feedback to a worthy client, but at the same time, I hate to dilute the Beta results.

Any suggestions?

A core2 will handle two work units. (my win pc core2 does) The return time for CPDN wu's is normally one year. My wu's have been crunching for (1)1600 hours with 128 to go and (2)1513 with 214 remaining. I would expect the Mac core2 to do better.

As it is in beta, they will not expect a fully completed run, and you should keep a regular eye on them changing the app.

They did give the credit for the original beta, if you ask them they probably would still do that.

I would change projects if a team plan emerges. But I think with the Alex opt, seti is still favorite. I don't expect to see a ppc version of cpdn.
