It's been a busy week for me! I just passed 5,000,000 in total BOINC points *and* took 3rd place overall from Beren.

Footnote: mikkyo has two separate entries on BOINCstats, with the same name. Combined, he would be in third, with 5.2 million. The sad news is that he stopped crunching in February. Does anyone know what happened?

Could be temperature-related, like my shutdown. I don't recall if mikkyo has shut down during summers in the past.

edit: oops, forgot the congratulations. That is one heck of a lot of crunching. Also a lot of roadkill along the way.

Congrats Zombie67!
I'm working on my first million, another 30K or so to go.
Quite aways from 5 million.

Thanks! The longer you crunch, the faster it seems to accumulate. It's funny that way.

Congrats, Zombie67 - that's a major accomplishment! I'm 41K away from my first million at the moment - around 20 days or so...

Treasure it while you can.

I passed 5M on SETI alone, and remain 3rd there; I think participating in Rosetta has hurt my credit accumulation figures since I seem to get far lower cobblestones per cpu second than under Seti (with Alex's worker - I'm still using the older one as I don't appear to be as "priviledged" as those running the new beta).

If apple would just introduce some second generation pros I could justify getting a new machine to my wife

But even then, I wouldn't double my RAC which is what I'd need to do to get to your level.

Yeah, crunching anything other than S@H with alexkan's application will only bring your numbers down. Still, I am crunching *everything* right now. It's more fun. One project can get boring for me.
