Should we be running the 5.50 or later standard Boinc client or is there still a way to
run the Superbench clients that were up at this site:

Team MacNN : Special BOINC Compiles

Should these be avoided or can they still be used? I ponder if they're out of date
however, I just remember the benchmarks were a lot higher than that of the standard
boinc client.

Ideas?

I need to ask mikkyo about those. I suspect BOINC has passed them by, and that we should take them down.

I tested one this afternoon and it lets you enter the project as well as the long hex code they gave you at signup but does not function so I suspect it's toast.

No chance of an update to match the current clients? I miss having an absurd
FPU capability in my machine at least on paper (phosphors?)

I'll take the pages down sometime soon. Possibly after checking with the 1-2 other people we ended up hosting compiles for too.
