Long time reader of MacNN, long time member of Team MacNN, also a long time lurker

on the forums. Finally registered to say howdy to all my fellow crunchers. Left the crunching world for a few years but I've been back for a few months now. Still finishing getting my small army of machines up and crunching but most of them have been eating away for the Team for a few months now

Welcome, we've always known we had far more team members than those who post. Along with plenty of visitors who post, but do not belong to the team. Which is fine too.

Shaktai I see you have popped your head up again. Makes it easier to take pot shots at you. I just never know where you are going to show up or where I might meet you. Got back in the game again and I will run over you in Einstein by the time you read this.

Then to rosetta to do the same.

Hey jbcool. Long time. Yeah, I've been kind of bouncing around a bit. Was working in the Philippines for a year. Looking for a new job now, my old one just ended.

Looks like you got a bit of crunch power there on Einstein. Don't think i can hold you off over there, but Rosetta isn't going to be so easy.

Just got things fired up again but only have a laptop and mac-mini right now. The big farm is gone. We'll have to see how long it takes you to catch me on Rosetta.

Good to see some of the old crew back. Things were a bit dull around here.

Hey careful with that stick you'll poke my eye out.

Yea my old farm is gone but I planted a few seeds and three quad core machine sprouted up

and now that I have over taken you at Einstein I can retask the machines to chase you down over at Rosetta.

Yes I see some of the team of the past is still around and another crew has stepped in to fill the void. I think I was gone for about two years. Went through a bunch of motherboards and power supplies before I gave up. These quad cores run cool even at 100% so I may be able to help out for a long time.

Hope you find some work soon. Last time I was between jobs it was 2 1/2 years before a I got a haircut and a real job.

Hello, I rarely post but chugg along at folding. I'm hoping to buy a house this summer and increase space for the crunching farm. Probably pick up a couple mini's to crunch or something.
