Hey, I've an iBook 500 (O/Ced to 600mhz). I just joined RC5, (Planning to join team Macnn), and I was wondering if there is a way to get the OS X client to crunch when I'm not plugged into a power source.

Yes, there is. In the configuration options. (start with ./dnetc -config if you use the CLI or start the client and hit apple-K if you use the gui version)

choose 1 "General client options"
then choose 9 "Pause if running on battery power"
this option should be set to "no"

hope that helps

Another question. I crunched a few units last night, tonight when I tried to see my status (and get my password) it said I didn't have a unit and there was no option to get a password. Should I wait another day to see, (I'm crunching right now.)?

Same problem, I think I'm doing it right, here's what I did.

Followed the teamMacnn directions in the setup, my e-mail was mac4x4evo@netscape.net. I then started crunching, and sent in at least 40 units. I then went to the link that was on the team macnn page, and entered my e-mail address. It came up with a blank units completed page, and a link that said CONFUSED??? that led to the FAQ.

Wow...that sig is huge. Better reduce it to within guidelines before some admin yells at you.
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?
