Hey guys,

I finally upgraded to 9.2 last week from 9.0.4 and while I was at it, I upgraded to the newest firmware. The system soft seems snappier than before which is cool, but only one problem: my RC5 crunching has been cut in half!! I'm only getting 4 Mkeys/sec now when I was getting 7.5... DOH! I'm running the old altivec enhanced version, and this is on my dual 450 so I assume the new one won't help any.

Anyone know anything about this?

Thanks.

It didn't even work on my iBook with 9.2.2. I had the faceless app in the startup folder and the iBook would lockup within about 20 seconds. My wife didn't like that too much

Sounds like I'm going to be testing this weekend.
I'll go into 9 this weekend when I'm at my G3, and test it there.

coolness.

I've tried the new client, but it doesn't seem to change things much.

Scratch that... I think I'm O.K. now (!!?)

I seem to be able to get 7+ Mkeys/sec.
