I just installed the Java environment and hte Ubero agent on a 350 MHz PC. I noticed of all things a STATUS BAR (!) at the bottom of the GUI window of Ubero. There's no status bar in the Mac version! I thought that Java programs were supposed to work the same way on all machines!

I was not able to find the IBM java enviroment like suggested on this board. I followed the instructions on the Ubero site after a bit of searching for the IBM way. If someone can help me find it, I can install it to make my PC run Ubero more efficiently.

Also, is there a command line that I can access in Windows? SO that I can run Ubero without the power-sucking and noticeable GUI?

Hmm. Checking on my iMac... no the statusbar is not there. It is a flat gray bar, no green to show how much of a WU is done. Maybe its my individual machine. Thanks for the link.

There is a status bar in the Mac version. It's attached to the bottom on the field with the red text.
