I installed MDC3 1.0b13 and ran it. I already had Ubero running at the time. I set up a SETI CLI cruncher just to see if MDC3 works. Worked jsut fine. The change chopped my Ubero oproduction to about a fifth of its normal rate, so I turned off SETI. Then I deleted MDC3.

Now there's a folder on my HD labeled "startup items" that contains an Ubero file and a SETI file. I can't deklete it because "no user has access" otr something lke that. How do I get rid of this folder?

There's no harm in leaving the files there really. If the "Startupparameters.plist" is not in place, the files will never be run at startup. MDC3 deletes/creates these files based on the "run at startup" option.
