I fear that all the crunching we do for Ubero may be a waste. When they start a real project, it is certainly going to be crunching different data. With this new data, there will be new work units, and will these new units still be counted in the stats engine like the current units. Or will they start another section to their stats engine and we all have to start from zero again. It would be like this, let's suppose that Distributed.net used RC5 only to test their system, and then they finished the test, and created a new project say OGR, and created a new stats page where everyone had to start from zero.
If I am right then we should instead focus our Ubero CPU's back to RC5 or SETI. But if I am wrong then we should have a good headstart on the many teams that will come when the real project starts.
