I used that MDC to set up Ubero on my desktop. It seems though that Java quits on its own for some reason. Its happened twice so far in the last two days. Is this a known problem? Any fixes?

Same problem here. I have ubero running on 2 machines. Ubero will quit and not restart itself after approximately 12 hours. This did not happen below Beta 10 of MDC, but i beleive the problem started after the ubero startup script was changed in order to hasten startup times, which I greatly appreciate. Isn't MDC using a ubero shell script that automatically stop and restarts ubero after 12 hours?
I am only guessing, but I beleive that the shell script does not not always continue running in the background and therefore is not around to restart ubero after it si stopped. I say this because when I bring up top in a term after startup with MDC beta 11 I find java running with a process id of 306 and a sh process with an id of 304. Now with MDC beta 13 I no longer can find a sh process with an id close to but lower than the java process, which leads me to beleive that the shell script which started the ubero java client is no longer running. I don't profess to be an expert, so my reasoning may have major flaws, but it is the best I can come up with. Please educate me.

A bug was found in the script that restarts ubero if it fails, where it doesn't run for too long before it fails itself. As you can guess, we put that in the config app last beta.
It will be removed in the next one.
