Depending on which Client you are running.
OS9
OSX GUI
OSX CLI

The proxy info is most of the way down the page. Just scroll until you see it.

Please change 'jaffacpas.dyndns.org' to 'seti.macnn.com'
we have changed the url, but the site hasn't been updated yet.

Change to the very last paragraph of instructions.
Note: the first time you connect, it will fail. However, instead of taking 20 seconds or so, it can take hours. This is because the proxy has to fight with berkeley to get a work unit. The longest it's ever taken is one day. Sorry about that.

Yes.

For everyone, when you connect to the proxy, it will report your WU done as zero. This is only until your work units are dumped to the main server, which happens at night. Note that it may take a few days, since the proxy tries to fill all buffers before dumping work units.

Don't worry, nothing is wrong.

I have several of my friends computers running SETI for me, and they are all PC's. Some of them have no trouble at all connecting to the proxy, and some never connect. Have any ideas. The ones that don't connect I set back to normall, and they seem to frequently have very hard times with berkeley's servers than other computers do.

Make sure that only one OS/client type is connecting.
They should have no problem connecting now.

The proxy is not overloaded
