It appears as if the SETI servers have gone down again, so get all of your boxes that aren't on the team proxy on it ASAP! For those who don't remember, the address is seti.macnn.com:5517.

By the way, does the proxy still have problems if two different operating systems using the same account try to connect to it?

No, the proxy doesn't have that problem anymore.

FYI, the proxy is useless if you start using it after an outage starts.
When you connect, it then tries to DL WUs. If seti is down, it won't be downloading anything and you won't be getting WUs.

You have to use it BEFORE an outage.

Edit: it looks like seti may be not completely down, so use the proxy, but don't use it then go off please.

i don't know why, but the wu's from the last couple of days that I've sent in to the proxy haven't been showing up in my stats. I'm not entirely sure what the deal is. I sent a few results to regular server and they came through ok. Has anyone else been having any problems?

It takes time.
One proxy is serving hundreds of WUs each day.
It has over 400 results waiting to be sent in right now. Looking thru it, probably at least 50 of those WUs are mine.
They'll go thru eventually.
The proxy has it's advantages, it has it's disadvantage.
The advantage is that it will buffer over most outages, the disadvantage is that after an outage it takes longer for WUs to get in.
