Well, it looks like SkiBikeSki and jbcool, are intent on upsetting the status quo over in Folding@Home. jbcool was the #1 producer for yesterday, and is soaring up the ranks.

SkiBikeSki who is relatively new to the project, was the #4 producer yesterday, and is likewise moving up the ranks at a good clip.

Me? Well let's just say that I am preparing to get passed again by both of these two hot dogs. Hopefully I can hold off jb for more than a couple of days this time, and maybe SkiBikeSki for a little longer.

I think the thing is that those fellows have multiple computers to devote to getting DC stats. I hav emy lovely iMac 500, and that's it/ Ibet those guys swtich a whole farm over to whatever project pleases their current fancy.
Actual conversation between UCLA and Stanford during a login on early Internet - U: I'm going to type an L! Did you get an L? S: I got one-one-four. L! U:Did you get the O? S: One-one-seven. U: <types G> S: The computer just crashed.

Actually, in this case it is only part of a farm. If either of them were to put their entire farms on folding, it would be no contest for everyone else. Of course it all helps the team. I know that both of them are currently working at least 3 different projects. Of course I have my own mini farm, (4) working 2 different projects.

Mini farm Ha!
More like a garden!

Maybe I should move my farm over to one of these projects and have my own little game.

Hey I tried to taunt you and cobramac into the distributed folding competition. I guess you two, just like everyone else, ignored me.

Glad to you have you or anyone else to move to any project to compete with my little plants. We sure could use your help at Folding @ Home or Distributed Folding now that enola's brother has taken the jet packs out of the mix.

I will even move half of my plants over to Ubero if it looks like we are going to fall behind. Can't put out as much as you but could probably put out about 1500 a day.

Bring it on!!

Okay, I admit it. A very tiny garden, but I do what I can. Besides it is enough to give some other folks pleasure when they pass me.

I figure I got maybe 5 or 6 days before jbcool just rolls right over me, again, in F@H. A little longer for SkiBikeSki.

Right now I only have my 1.57GHz athlon on F@H. I think I'm gonna fire up my friends, and see if I can pass you, Shaktai, before jbcool does. I think a couple more Athlons outta do it.

Mokbva passed me like I was standing still. Maybe the team can get to the top 25 with more of these top performing guys.

Oh great bucko I got you turning up the heat on me here.
Scotttheking turning up the heat on me in Genome@home.
Slipjack pulling away from me in Distributed folding & RC-5.
Uncle, Uncle, I give up! Just kidding turn up the heat its cold here.

I'll give you until Saturday evening to pass me before I drop the hammer on Shaktai. Then I drop a second box over at genome to drop the hammer on Shaktai over there. So you could actually pass me on the F@H or Genome@Home projects this weekend. Guess I going to need to get a padded mallet like that arcade game has were you smack the heads down as the pop up.

Maybe you still need to get those lab machines.

You guys pushing me is what makes this game fun.
Keep up the good work.

Just click your heals three times and say there is no place like home.
Just remember when your pushing and the wagon starts to roll over run for the house and deny that you were even outside.

I think I have finally found my calling in life.

Being a target for other people to shoot at, that is easy to hit.

I noticed that Mokbva was crunching pretty good. jbcool was even outcrunching Mokbva, until he pulled one of his boxes. I have 3 boxes on folding right now, and 1 on Genome. I would have to put all four on folding to match or better Mokbva.

Now that the Macs are starting to get some of the bigger proteins, we should continue to improve in the standings. The bigger proteins, definitely give the Mac a better return on points, per hour of crunching then do all the little ones.

You did own that #1 spot for a long time though.
Every time I get a #1 spot, jb or one of the others, go out of their way to knock me down a notch. It is all in fun though and the project and Team benefit from it.

My farm is more of a window box, but at least I'm still 3 spots ahead of you in RC5.

Only because I haven't crunched RC-5 in a long time. Should I move my 800mhz G4 back over there???? I won't since it is otherwise committed, but ...............

To tell the truth nor have I. I stopped just after I passed you. Just thought it amusing to point it out.

RC5 isn't really my thing and prefer to do more useful projects. When I get back from my vacation I'll try and overtake the people who have passed me in dFold since my boxes have been off the last few days. If an Altivec core happens in F@H I might be tempted into that, but otherwise I'll stick to dFold and try and eventually move my way up the ranks.

I'll certainly let you know if I pass you in dFold.

Shaktai here is someone that really needs to get a life.
Here they are giving you a hard time when they are supposed to "ENJOY THE VACATION". Guess they didn't read the small print " Caution DC projects can be habit forming and expensive."

Shaktai are you sure that you don't have a birthmark that look like a target? Everyone seem to try to shoot you down every time you get in the #1 spot in any DC project. And I thought that was my job.

Yeah, everybody seems to get upset if I am ahead of them. Guess I am having too much fun.

It's amazing how a wireless network can stretch outside where I can soak up the rays. Who said I wasn't enjoying myself? I just need to try not to spill ice cream on my laptop.

It's fair to say I need to get more of a life given my number of posts, then I look around at other people's tallies... I won't stop crunching but it's clearly time for me to kick the posting habit.

Adieu, friends. It's been fun.

Wheeles. I hope you won't be gone forever..... Stop by once in a while and just say howdy. It is nice though, to have a wireless network. We finally got some sun in Washington state, and I sat out on my balcony with my iBook enjoying the rays and the sunset, while still getting a little work done (very little). Do take the time though to enjoy your vacations. We all need that. I myself am planning a computer free photo treck tomorrow, providing we get the promised sunny weather.

Whoa, you are crunching some pretty good numbers. Keep it up, and you'll be in the top 5 in no time. Of course you passed me a while ago, and now I have put what I had on folding over on dist fold to help with the push there. I like the way you snuck past jbcool though.
