Now that we've gotten far ahead on ubero, and there really isn't anyone challenging us, do you people think it's time to take about half our power off and move it somewhere else until ubero starts doing something?
I think that 10K per day is plenty to keep us ahead.
What do you think?

Well I think it is up to each individual. I keep an eye on Ubero just in case, but have pulled all my power from it. I also try to stay up on what is happening, in case they get some good projects going. I think 10 to 12 k is sufficient. We can alway power up again if we need to. I think we have shown that we have that capability.
I would like to see some of that power go to other projects where it could be more beneficial right now, both from a Team perspective and from a project perspective.
Again though, each individual will have to decide for themselves. We are more than 400,000 ahead right now, so that gives us plenty of time to power back up if needed. 10 to 12 k would continue to build on our lead.

Should you choose to leave Übero and help with SETI, please remember that the CLI client is much more time-efficient than the GUI, and quicker too.

My rule for assigning various computers to various projects is simply to put each computer on the project that it is best for. My G4 crunches RC5, my Athlon with IBM JDK crunches Ubero, PIII's crunch SETI, and any other computers crunch either of the two folding projects.
The one exception is the dFold race that will be starting soon, so I will be turning all my CPU's over to that until it's over.

Hell, cobramac and scott alone could keep us ahead. I'll start dFolding as soon as I hit 10,000 Ubero units.

Cobramac alone could do it. I don't think he'll leave Ubero until he passes Mikkyo. Hey nothing sweeter than being #1 on the #1 team.
Good luck with getting to 10,000 ubero units. Hope it is soon, we would really like to have you on dFold.

I've moved my Ubero machine to dFold for the time being, at least until Ubero gets some new work. As others are, I'm keeping my eye on Ubero just in case TCP tries to assult our lead (they've been very disappointing up to this point).
I think once we hit 2million, then it would be the proper time to cut down to 10 - 12k a day. The current daily 21k is sufficient, and until we've really really secured our lead I don't think it's a very good idea to cut back THAT much.
