…before Berkeley gets the problem fixed, will someone please post it? I have RC5 set on all machines and ready to go if this happens.

don't worry, the proxy has 8 days of work buffered for anyone who has been using it before the the outage started.
New people who try using it after the outage has started will only get WU if the person who is running the proxy feels sorry for them and gives them a few WU from someone else.

For future reference-
http://homepage.mac.com/mpeters/

The first link is to a package called setiproxy

It's a java seti proxy server.
I used Apple's java thingy to make it into a clickable executable (or you can start it via your crontab- I wrote a script for that)

It runs on OS X just fine- I've been using it for months now.
I have OS X cli, linux cli, and OS 9 gui clients using it.

That way I can store a bunch of units on my home machine and specify what time new units are grabbed and old turned in.

Even if my ISP has a service outage, I'll have seti units to crunch.
