the dfold team is currently powering up, we look to be making some excellent progress. we would love to get into the top 10 soon.
ubero may be put on the back burner for a bit, we are number one there and have established a comfortable lead.
i say go dfold
aliens can wait, and we all know encryption is crackable, so do humanity some good and join dfold

We can use the help anywhere. Ubero does seem to be secure at the moment, and dFold is making waves.
However, we are about to be passed in Folding@home by 2 different teams. One is a Mac team, the other a school.
The dogs are chasing us in SETI, and we have a monkey problem in RC5, which may or may not become serious.
Crunch where you like. There are no wrong choices.

I'd say either SETI, dFold, or Folding.
We don't need more Ubero power right now, and we already have a ton of RC5 power. Plus, I'm hesitant to put much power into RC5, anyway. The current project over there is slowly getting close to finishing, and when it does, all stats will probably be reset, anyway. Why cruch something when it's not going to matter in a few months?

Well I would say dFold since that is my pet project, but Folding at home could really use some help and is another great project. Team SETI is being threatened by the Little White Dogs, but that would probably just be more of a delaying action unless we put some serious power over there. Ubero is very solid for the moment and we are #1 there. dFold and Folding@home are both projects that can benefit science. RC-5 is an option if you have a G4 but odds are it is probably nearing completion before long.
Check them all out and then go where you think you will have the best effect and the most fun. Whereever you go, your efforts will be appreciated.

sup man
Personally i'd put your 466Mhz G3 on SETI and leave RC5 to the G4's. Folding@home requires OS X as does Ubero and Distributed Folding.. So, unless you are going to give X a try.....it comes down to SETI and RC5. And RC5 is about to wrap up anyways....So why not help put those Dogs back into their kennels.....
SETI's pretty easy to configure and use too.
So, yeah, i'd put old bondi on SETI.
ill be on AIM, you know where to find me
