Well that didn't last long but slipjack has moved into the #3 position and that one ought to be good for a while.

I bet I can get into the top 10 again. Especially when I get all my CPU's onto dFold. But then again it is sorta random.

Good luck trying. I have all mine working on it now and I have never made
the top ten list. Like a 1 in a billion chance. That is actually the work case chance, it starts of with a fairly high probablity in the beginning and then gets worse as the protein project near competion.
Still it is nice to see the gang at Team MacNN make the list from time to time.

It really is 1 in 1 Billion. It's 10 in 10 Billion.

Well, everyone else got knocked out but versalius got back in with a 5.865. Just goes to show that it isn't always the fastest who win.
Congrats!!!

But if you're crunching hard you do get a lot of chances. So the odds are a lot shorter than 1 in a billion. If you do 1 million folds on the protein then (if my maths are correct and it's a US billion (1,000,000,000) as opposed to a UK billion (1,000,000,000,000)) that's only 1 in 1000.
