Whats up with it, it won't connect. Is it down for right now? When will it be back up?

The server it was on died. It will be back when the server is fixed or replaced.

Scott runs the proxy stuff, but I'm not going to pester him. He does know, and may do something about it.

Until it starts working again, I'd suggest using the official servers. The client is supposed to fall back on the official servers anyway if it can't reach a proxy server.
