Need some SETI troubleshooting help in the Team MacNN recruiting thread over in OS-X General forum. Problem is as below, but please post your solutions over there. I have to head to work and can't get back on this right away.

I'm using it on a slot-loading iMac (G3, 500MHz, 512GB) running OS 10.1.3. I run it as a screensaver. I downloaded the most recent version and reinstalled, but that didn't fix the problem. The error message says something like "SETI has unexpectedly quit, other apps have not been affected". But the real problem is that these windows just keep opening until they fill the screen, making the computer totally unusable and forcing me to reboot. This problem arose when I upgraded my HD and reinstalled everything from scratch. I also run SETI at work on a dual G4 450 with no problems.
Let's get some brainpower on this.
